Jack Morgan Awarded High-Honor “Tank Award”

Jack Morgan, a man of heart, is the owner and operator of Morgan’s Garage. Much of Morgan’s free-time is spent in his garage, which is a non-commercial facility operated out of the back of his home. The garage and it’s projects allow Morgan to follow his passions.

Morgan’s Garage takes old, rusted, junky motorcycles and turns them into eye-catching restorations and art pieces. Morgan’s art pieces go out to local bike shows and burn out contests as awards for the winners of these events. People absolutely love to get the intricate and unique art pieces Morgan makes! Morgan also donates some of his art pieces to local benefits when a motorcyclist is being honored or assisted after an injury.

Additionally, he is the president of the Down Bikers Fund which helps local families in the Zanesville area in times of need. The Down Bikers Fund recently held there 28th Annual Poker Run that attracted over 1,500 people and helped raise money for many families in need. As Christmas nears, Morgan takes one of his old vans and the local biking community makes it a goal to completely fill the van with toys for children at Christmas.

In early September 2019, Morgan was chosen as the recipient for both a Judge’s Choice Award, for his bike rebuild “Miss Behavin’”, and the Tank Award.

The Tank Award is named after Tank Ewsichek, who passed away in May 2019. Ewsichek was a great, humble guy who was always out helping people in his community and riding for charities. This award was created to honor his spirit and recognize gracious, talented souls in the motorcycle community.

“Winning the Tank Award was a great honor! I was in complete shock,” said Morgan.

It’s very easy to see why Morgan is a perfect candidate for this award with all his dedication to local causes and helping people in need.
