10th Annual Thunder Zone Bike Show
Saturday, September 12th, Geneva-on-the-Lake, OH
It’s our 10th Bike Show at Geneva-on-the-Lake during Thunder on the Strip – and we thought that this would have certainly been our biggest and best thus far!! But then of course COVID came and turned the entire world upside down.
As we go to print, things are up in the air in regards to what’s going on with our Bike Show and Geneva-on-the-Lake. The powers that be are evaluating everything – so we’d advise you to check out our facebook page for the latest information. (www.facebook.com/ThunderRoadsOhio)

The original plan has us returning to The Marketplace Landing, adjacent to the Old Firehouse Winery and Sunset Bar. This amazing location gives us acres of beautiful, park-like space right on the water! You couldn’t ask for a better spot!

The Marketplace landing is adjacent to the Firehouse Winery and runs along the shore where the old amusement park once was. There’s the Sunset Bar in the middle of a beautiful park-like setting – that’s all reserved for the THUNDER ZONE!!! Right on the water! There’s live entertainment and numerous bars adjacent to – there’s even a FERRIS WHEEL that takes you up and gives an amazing view of the lake and GOTL. And of course, we are across the street from Yankees and Goblin – PARTY CENTRAL – with awesome live music all weekend!

Of course – all of this is subject to change, including the Bike Show! So visit us on Facebook. For the Bike Show, registration will be online at ThunderRoadsOhio.com

For the past eight years we’ve had fantastic weather, an abundance of coveted door prizes, and a chance to win an amazing raffle bike. Every participant receives one raffle ticket with their registration and will have their chance at a Harley-Davidson® 2020 Electra Glide ® Standard. Additional raffle tickets are available for purchase now, and make a great gift.

THUNDER RUN UPDATE
Due to COVID 19 and the countless challenges and concerns that it presents both to venues and riders, we have decided to SUSPEND many of the traditional aspects of the Buckeye Thunder Run.
HOWEVER, riders are STILL able to win prizes every time that they ride by simply checking in at their favorite Ride Stops on Facebook.
When you’re out riding, you simply need to take a picture of yourself, your bike, your friends and post it to Facebook on your personal page. On the post, “check-in” at the location and include the hashtag #ThunderRun. You simply need to include #ThunderRun in the comment section of your post.
For instance – “Stopped by Bear’s Vintage Metal Works in Ravenna to pick up my Thunder Roads and ended up getting a NEW SEAT! #ThunderRun
We will be scanning for the #ThunderRun hashtag and awarding prizes throughout the year – including the chance to win a 2020 Harley-Davidson Electra-Glide Standard!
So get out and RIDE to WIN!

JOIN THE CREW: Opportunities for local riders to help support their riding community.
As we head into the 2020 riding season, it’s clear that there will be a much greater demand for local coverage across the state as more riders will be staying closer to home for smaller rides and events. This means that TRO will need even more help covering these events – both getting the word out in advance and taking pictures and covering the events as they happen. As always, Local Road Reps will have the opportunity to make some extra cash covering their area – if they’d like. But for many, the real appeal is being able to help these local events succeed and share their story with the rest of the state! The cool part, though, is that you don’t have to sacrifice one for the other. You can both help the local riding community and make some $$$ doing what you love! How cool is that?!
No magazine experience is needed, however you’ll need access to a computer that you feel comfortable using and possibly a camera. Although, some simply use their phone! The key, though, being able to handle yourself professionally while still having fun hanging with bikers! It’s a tough job, but somebody get to do it!
